Session 44, VP1

A peaceful night’s rest was just what the doctor ordered for the trainers. Recharged & revitalized, they were eager to continue along the way to Harbinger Valley. They took a moment to say farewells to the people they had helped, & set out North.   Their march across the fields was serene as Heimdall’s Gates loomed ever closer. The mountains were intimidating, but perhaps not insurmountable. A strange fog increased in intensity the closer they got to the mountain range. It was a welcome relief when they came across a small cave that appeared to lead to the town nestled within.   Of course, people who have taken such pains to isolate themselves are seldom welcome to uninvited guests. A small swarm of Pokemon leapt from the shadows of the cave to defend the tunnel. Several of these Pokemon were easy enough to put down, but there were several hidden in the back. A strange sort of visual glitch was making it impossible to properly see them- their presence could be ...

Session 50, VP2

The party entered Hammerfest a short while before sunset. Inside, the town's Pokemon Center was packed: a line of trainers wound nearly to the door, all waiting to have their teams healed. A sole elder man was behind the counter. Seeing that he was clearly swamped, our heroes decided to pitch in. Before retiring for the evening, they asked if he knew anything about the disappearance from a few weeks ago. All he was able to share is that now there was a rumor the Pokemon Center was haunted. People were afraid to work there, so it was cur...

Arc 3, Session 19, L5R

January, 1118, Week 1: To Dine & Dish It took several days for the cleansing rites to be completed to the Wardens' exacting standards. The matter was complicated due to the extensive nature of Hiruma Kazu's injuries; our heroes had done an admirable job of saving his life on the journey, but the long road to recovery must be walked under his power alone. Still, the group could only delay their return for so long. Carrying the Hiruma on a stretcher, they set off North at the earliest opportunity. By the time they reached the castle, the courtier was able to move about on his own once more. Yudai made a beeline to his lord's quarters while most of the others partook in a restorative meal. Was it just their imagination, or did the staff seem more...nervously professional? Takeshi's stomach burned no less than the others, but he had a promise to fulfill. He retraced steps he had taken weeks before in thoughtful silence. The room of the fallen was still & solemn. Tho...
