Session 51, VP2

(These notes were written by the player for Lauren, from Lauren's POV.) Despite everything we learned about the “nurse” from the Pokemon Center, somebody still died. One of the competitors from the day prior, the large man from Hammerfest named Hemming. We’d seen him at dinner the night before, drunk and boasting about how he was going to crush his competitor, a small weaselly boy from Blademill by the name of Gudar. Bronze hoped to bet against Hemming today, and I hoped to see him knocked off his pedestal, but neither of us wished him death. I double-checked the security footage and ensured it was still there. Just in case, I made sure to back it up to my Pokedex. Then, I sent Bronze and Sylvie to go look for ingredients for the antidote while the rest of us went to talk to Skirlic. I wanted to send Donner and Reinhold on to talk to Ilvri while I talked to Skirlic, but neither of them seemed keen on leaving me alone with Skirlic. After yesterday, I was fairly confident she wouldn...

Session 45.5, VP1

Our heroes descended the mountain at an even pace. Saffa had set up a campsite a small bit away, in the fields proper. She could tell that something had occurred to dampen her friends’ spirits, but held her tongue for the moment.   The sun draped them in a pale light when they left the following morning. Every so often, large groups of trainers would meet: not to battle, but to exchange Pokemon of all size & stripe. The cheap entrance fee convinced the group to at least check it out.   Crowds mingled throughout the tents, sharing food, drink, & company. Many trainers waited in the trading areas for prospective partners. Though they had not initially planned to ...

Session 45, VP1

Their first order of business was examining their surroundings. The cell had no comforts: no beds, blankets, pillows, nor any food or drink. The metal bars were not attached to a hinge, but were instead “slotted” into the rock. If they had to guess, it was likely the construction of the cell was done using psychic powers.   Thankfully, Gunnar had yet to meet a mind he couldn’t match with muscle. He was able to easily knock the bars to the ground. A hallway stretched out in either direction of their cell. To the right, two more cells were hewn into the tunnel before it ended abruptly. To the right, the hallway curved into a room lit by a floating, pink light. The pair chose to explore the latter.   Only a short way ahead, the hallway opened into a much larger room. The outline of a figure could be seen on the far wall. It appeared to be…stuck to the wall in some manner. Bergie lit his shoulders ablaze as the trainers approached.   Pinned in place by invisible p...
