Session 1, VP1

The party arrived in Ever Dam on the 10-year anniversary of the city's founding, finding it in the midst of a small festival. After meeting each other and hearing about various contests for the festival, they decided to check it out together, stocking up on basic supplies on their way. They entered a small 1v1 Pokemon tournament to celebrate the opening day of the Pokemon League. They all placed in the top four, with Skeldr & Gunnar taking first. They took a short trip to view the dam along the coast, but decided to actually visit the dam at a later date. 

Afterwards, they engaged in a dancing competition, an arm wrestling competition, and a dirty limerick competition. Gunnar & Bjorg won the dancing contest as a duo, Bjorg and Naivara lost the arm wrestling contest, and Naivara won the dirty limerick contest. The party retired for the night. 

The next day, they ran into Perthro, an eccentric wandering merchant and scholar. He offered them various items for oddly low prices. As they went to leave, Perthro offered them a challenge: if they caught a Pokemon and brought it back to show him before the next day, he would give them Pokedexes. 

The party journeyed to Angeyja's Sands, where they battled some wild Pokemon, succeeded in catching at least one each. They returned to Ever Dam, visited the Pokemon Center, then saw Perthro. He gave them Pokedexes as promised. They then retired for the night, to begin their journey fresh and renewed the next morning. 

During the night, they all dreamt of a man dress in grey robes, in a wide-brimmed hat, who pointed at their dominant hand. When they awoke, they each found the Boon tattoo imprinted on their hands.

Not sure if he heard me yell for him. We all run back out from Gilling’s Barrel and that entrance closes too. We don’t wait around to see if anyone comes out. Basil is waiting ahead for me, but Hestr doesn’t look well-- So he goes back to running further away. It's dark but we keep moving until we get far enough away that the runes stop hurting him.    It’s about dawn when the Pokemon stops ahead, exhausted. I’ve been trying to heal Lauren’s hand for the last few minutes but he tells me to take care of Hestr first. I thank the Earl, he was always my getaway plan if things got bad. Session 48, VP1

Another Gym Rune had been added to the trainers’ growing legend. At dinner that evening, several townsfolk begrudgingly complimented Takeru on his newly-displayed battle skills.    Gunnar spoke with Morphada about Ingeborg; some of the citizens had been convinced to reconsider the term of exile. Takeru had also suggested the possibility of bringing Ingeborg along with the group, though Bergie seemed very hesitant to do so. Morphada was grateful for our heroes’ consideration, & said they could discuss it further come morning.   Breakfast the next day was full of one of Morphada’s typical honey-glazed delicacies- only, this time, everyone present was thoroughly enjoying them. Rather than drowning something in honey, she had instead lightly-glazed bacon strips. Private Records of [ILLEGIBLE], April 4 th , 1119 In the weeks I have been stationed here in Yama no Kuyami to supervise Orakamono no rōgoku, there has been mercifully little to report. The work is tedious, but must be done to ensure the realm’s safety. As samurai, I live to serve. The remote scrying scrolls have been useful, but must be used sparingly. A few coins to various peasants & ronin have helped fill in the gaps.   Multiple clans have staked claims to mine for metal & gems: Badger, Centipede, Crane, Lion, & Mantis. None of them appear to have any knowledge of the prison’s true purpose. I am most confused at the presence of the Centipede, or lack thereof. It seems their group is only a single samurai with a few retainers- I have yet to see any evidence they are even mining. Strange, but hopefully benign.
